Haunted House Scare Cam 2020

Haunted House Scare Cam 2020

We LOVE the sound of YOUR screams! Those screams are the energy we feed off to bring you the terror. This season has been going great with the Covid precautions we’ve taken, timed ticketing and the new scares at Terror 29 Haunted House. We’ve picked out some of our favorite clips from our scare cam so far this season and they are too spooky not to share!

Is it Safe to Attend a Haunted House during the Covid-19 Pandemic?

We love to scare you and couldn’t imagine a Halloween season without a haunted house. The one scare we didn’t want this year was the fear of everyone’s health and safety. Dakota News Now in the Sioux Falls area did an amazing in-depth story on the changes we’ve made. You can watch that here:

As mentioned in the news story, we’ve made changes of the physical build of the haunted house. That includes taking down high touch surface areas and cleaning between groups. There are also hand sanitizer stations available.

How to Protect Yourself at a Haunted House

While we’ve made lots of changes to make our haunted attraction as safe as possible, there are things you can do to lower your risk.

  1. Wear a Mask - This one will be easy because at Terror 29 it’s required for everyone including our actors and staff.

  2. Buy Tickets Online - This year we have implemented timed ticketing to keep crowd sizes smaller. Purchasing in advance also allows you to skip the ticket window entirely and get right in line. Please practice social distancing.

  3. Watch Virtually - If you don’t feel safe attending in person that’s okay! This year we are offering a virtual stream of the haunt walkthrough. Tickets are available for Wednesday nights at 8PM CST. Once you purchase tickets you’ll be sent an email with instructions to access the virtual stream.

  4. Review Safety Guidelines - Lastly, make sure to read the information on our website to know about all the safety changes and guidelines. Every haunt attraction will be different, so make sure to review them all before attending.
